Thionutri fungicide
Thionutri fungicide is a premium Sulfur 80% WDG (Water Dispersible Granules) formulation designed to deliver superior sulfur nutrition along with effective control of key fungal diseases and mites. Developed by Syngenta Crop Protection, this high-quality granular formulation disperses quickly in water, ensuring uniform spray coverage, better adhesion, and enhanced crop safety.
Sulfur plays a vital role in chlorophyll formation, protein synthesis, oil content enhancement, and enzyme activation. Thionutri not only corrects sulfur deficiency but also acts as a protective contact fungicide and miticide, making it a dual-benefit solution for high-value crops like grapes, apple, chilli, and vegetables.

Thionutri fungicide Features and Benefits
Dual Purpose Action: Works as both a sulfur nutrient and protective fungicide/miticide.
Multi-Site Mode of Action: Sulfur disrupts fungal spore germination and interferes with metabolic processes, reducing resistance risk.
Mite Suppression: Effective against red spider mites and other mite species through contact activity.
Improves Crop Quality: Enhances oil content in oilseeds and improves protein synthesis in pulses and cereals.
Uniform Granule Technology: WDG formulation ensures easy mixing, low dust, and safe handling.
Rain Fastness: Good adhesion to leaf surface; avoid spraying before expected rainfall within 3–4 hours.
Resistance Management Tool: Suitable for inclusion in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
Mode of Action
Sulfur acts through contact activity by inhibiting fungal spore germination and disrupting electron transport within fungal cells. It also releases sulfur vapors under warm conditions, enhancing control of powdery mildew. Its multi-site activity makes resistance development very unlikely.
