Miravis Duo Fungicide
Miravis Duo Fungicide is a next-generation systemic fungicide powered by Pydiflumetofen 6.89% + Difenoconazole 11.49% SC. Developed by Syngenta, it delivers superior preventive and curative control against major fungal diseases in fruits and vegetables.
The unique combination of ADEPIDYN technology (Pydiflumetofen – SDHI group) and Difenoconazole (Triazole group) provides strong residual activity, excellent rainfastness, and resistance management support. It is widely trusted for controlling diseases like Powdery Mildew, Alternaria, Anthracnose, and Leaf Spots in crops such as grapes, chilli, tomato, and pomegranate.

Miravis Duo Fungicide Features and Benefits
Dual-Mode Action for Complete Control
Pydiflumetofen inhibits fungal respiration (SDHI – FRAC Group 7), while Difenoconazole blocks sterol biosynthesis (DMI – FRAC Group 3), providing multi-site disease suppression.
Strong Preventive and Curative Effect
Controls disease before infection and also arrests early-stage fungal development.
Long Residual Protection
Provides extended protection due to strong leaf binding and systemic movement.
Excellent Translaminar and Systemic Movement
Penetrates leaf tissue and protects both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Rainfastness
Becomes rainfast within approximately 2–3 hours after spray.
Resistance Management Tool
Two different modes of action help delay resistance development when used as per recommended spray schedule.
Usage and Crop Recommendations
| Crop | Target Diseases | Dosage / Ha | Dilution in Water (L/Ha) | Waiting Period |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grapes | Powdery Mildew, Downy Mildew | 0.5 – 0.6 L | 500 – 1000 L | 7 – 10 Days |
| Chilli | Powdery Mildew, Fruit Rot | 0.5 L | 500 L | 5 – 7 Days |

| Cucumber | Powdery Mildew | 0.5 L | 500 L | 5 Days |
Method of Application: Foliar spray
Best Time to Apply: Preventive stage or at first visible symptoms
Spray Interval: 10–12 days depending on disease pressure
Research and Technical Insight
Pydiflumetofen (SDHI Technology) works by inhibiting the succinate dehydrogenase enzyme in fungal mitochondria, blocking energy production and stopping fungal growth.
Difenoconazole (DMI Fungicide) interferes with ergosterol biosynthesis, weakening fungal cell membrane formation and preventing disease progression.
The combination provides broad-spectrum activity with improved residual life compared to single-site fungicides.
