Admire Insecticide
Admire Insecticide containing Imidacloprid 70% WG is a highly effective systemic insecticide designed to provide long-lasting control of major sucking pests in a wide range of crops. Belonging to the neonicotinoid group, it acts on the insect nervous system, causing paralysis and death. Due to its strong systemic movement, it is absorbed by plant roots and leaves and translocated throughout the plant, ensuring complete protection from hidden and hard-to-reach pests.
Admire is widely trusted by cotton, vegetable, paddy, and fruit growers for its quick knockdown effect, extended residual control, and low-dose efficiency. Its water-dispersible granule (WG) formulation ensures easy mixing, uniform spray distribution, and minimal dust during handling.

Admire Insecticide Features and Benefits
Powerful Systemic Action:
Rapidly absorbed and translocated throughout the plant via xylem, protecting new growth and untreated plant parts.
Effective Against Sucking Pests:
Controls aphids, whiteflies, jassids, thrips, brown planthopper, and other sap-sucking insects efficiently.
Long Residual Control:
Provides extended protection for 10–15 days depending on crop and pest pressure.
Low Dose, High Efficiency:
Highly concentrated 70% WG formulation ensures effective control at low application rates.
Resistance Management Tool:
Different mode of action compared to organophosphates and pyrethroids, making it suitable for rotation in IPM programs.
Rain Fastness:
Becomes rainfast within approximately 2–3 hours after spraying.
Mode of Action
Imidacloprid acts as a systemic insecticide targeting the insect’s nervous system. It binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs), disrupting nerve impulse transmission. This leads to feeding cessation within hours and eventual death of the insect.
